Next year, the Utrecht Historical Student Association will begin its 101st year. This year promises to be another special and educational one for the association's members and alumni. Therefore, we have begun recruiting board members for the 101st board of the Utrecht Historical Student Association. Do you see this as an exciting challenge and would you like to be part of a student board? Then apply for the board for the 2026–2027 year.

Applications are made by letter and interview. Please send your cover letter and CV to the Application Committee (sollicitatiecommissie@uhsk.nl) by 11:59 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026. The Application Committee will review all letters and will contact you as soon as possible with a possible invitation for an interview. The interviews will take place between February 25 and March 5, 2026. After all applications have been received, the Application Committee will select a candidate board member. For this, there will be looked for at least 6 people. The Application Committee would like to see the following in a cover letter of no more than one page:

- Your motivation for a year on the board of UHSK.
- What would you add to a board and the association?
- One detailed policy point that articulates your vision for the association.

Part of the interview will focus on your cover letter and CV.

Furthermore, the Application Committee will present you with several case studies and other questions.

The Application Committee will treat applications anonymously and with integrity. The same is expected of applicants.

A basic understanding of Dutch and English is required for this vacancy.
