Valorum Verborum
On the 29th of June 2022, the literary society ‘Valorum Verborum’ was established to
celebrate the wonders of the literary arts and to connect admirers of words and language.
The name ‘Valorum Verborum’ means ‘the worth of words’, and is a play on the author
Wordsworth. The society takes pleasure in discussing any type or form of written art,
therefore welcoming poetry, novels, speeches, quotes, spoken word, podcasts, fanfiction
and much more. Reviews can be given and discussions held using a WhatsApp group in
which members share their opinions and photos. Members are also encouraged to share
their own original work. We also hope to start the book club 'Bards of Avon' soon. The
society is international and welcomes literary work from all languages. However, the
messages in the group will always be in English. If you want to join the society, feel free the
