Dear runners and partygoers!
This year, the UHSK is finally participating in the Batavierenrace for the first time in the
weekend of May 24-26th!
This gigantic event is the world's largest relay race and the largest student sports
activity in Europe. Approximately 8,500 student runners participate annually in the race
covering over 175 kilometers, from Nijmegen to Enschede. Runners cover distances
ranging from 3 to 11 kilometers, and after the race, people celebrate at the largest
student festival in the Benelux, with an average of 13,000 other partygoers!
The UHSK is looking for 30 participants. You don't need to be an experienced runner; it's
all about having fun. If you join our team, you'll train together a couple of times and
enjoy some drinks to foster bonding within the team.
Out of the 30 participants, five runners will be on standby, but they will definitely join
the trip! The distribution will be approximately 19 men and 11 women due to the

different laps, but it's not very strict. Distances will be assigned later, but as a team
member, we expect only enthusiasm, motivation, and a lot of ‘gezelligheid’ from you!
For participation, there is a €30,- advance payment, covering transportation, food,
accommodation, and entry to the festival. Please note that there will be no refund
after registration. Later in the year, an additional amount of around €10,- will be
required to cover any extra costs.
